We are a licensed child care centre dedicated to providing high quality, play-based learning programs immersed in nature for children ages 12 months-6 years. We hope that our centre will be a positive and pleasant experience that will be beneficial to both you and your child.

Our experienced, trained educators will do everything possible to make your child’s transition as easy as possible.

Our Classroom Teams are made up of

  • Registered Early Childhood Educators
  • Certified Forest School Practitioners
  • Early Childhood Educator Apprentices
  • Child Care Assistants

All staff at all Discovery Programs have

  • Current criminal reference checks, including vulnerable sector checks as a condition of employment
  • Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification
  • Participate in ongoing professional development

Policies

Safe Arrival & Dismissal Policy:

It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to inform Discovery Child Care Centre no later than 9am if their child will be absent for any reason. You can phone and leave a message at 705-733-2052 or email dccsafearrival@gmail.com  Chronic contravention of this policy will lead to termination of services by Discovery Child Care Centre
