Even at this young age, the children spend the majority of their days outside, engaging all their senses while exploring in our beautiful Nature Classroom. Consideration is always given to the children’s physical need for health & safety. We believe that being outdoors in beautiful, natural environments is an essential experience for all children, including our youngest learners.
One of our goals is to cultivate authentic relationships and connections and to create a sense of belonging among and between children, adults and the world around them. Relationships are at the core of everything we do.
The daily schedule is flexible and allows for playful learning throughout the day, where children have choice of activities and learning centres. There are opportunities for indoor & outdoor play, active & quiet play, nutrition breaks & rest time throughout the day. Children in our infant program are on their own unique schedule and do not need to conform to any kind of child care centre schedule.
Our Infant Room is licensed for 6 children, ages 6 weeks – 18 months. We have 2 full-time teachers working with the children.
One hot lunch and 2 snacks (mid-morning & mid-afternoon) will be provided daily for children enrolled in our infant, toddler, preschool & kindergarten programs. We provide plant-based milk at lunch and water throughout the day.
We are a nut/peanut/dairy/egg/fish free facility. Please do not bring any of these food or beverage items into the facility.
